missing network drives

I have a problem with windows 2000 machines not
reconnected network drives. When a user logs on for the
first time in the day, the mapped network drives do not
appear and have to be reconnected. They are connected to
a windows NT4.0 server. This doesn't happen everytime,
but it happens enough to be a problem. When mapping the
network drives the option to reconnect at login is
checked. I also have a logon script mapping these drives
if they are not present. Has any else expierenced this
problem?

I suggest you rely on your explicit logon script when
mapping drives instead of relying on remembered connections.
It's much more reliable.
