Missing Network Connection and ICS Problem

I have small network (XP Home - host and W98SE - client) and while file &
printer sharing both work fine, I can't get ICS to work. This used to be OK
but something has gone wrong.

I think the problem is the IP address on the host is being generated
automatically and it needs to be set at 192.168.0.1

I should be able to see the network card in the Network Connections folder
and from there right click to set the IP address but there is nothing
showing the Network Connections folder (of which there are 2 for some
unknown reason).

Any good ideas anybody?

Thanks

Keith

posting ipconfig /all here may help.

Here it is in it's entirety. I'm sorry but I don't understand very much of
what it is telling me. By the way the client was turned off when I ran
this. would it be better if I turn it on?

Any help you can give gratefully received
