Missing metafiles (?)

After a system restore, I noticed that my PC no longer
shows the details of digital photos (shutter, ISO,
aperture etc) when right clicking on the file and
selecting properties. This is the case even for new
images downloaded to the PC. Anyone know how I can
restore this facility? Thanks everyone!

Try this, maybe it will restore the option:

go to...Start / Run and type:

"REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL"
(without the quotes)(Yes, there's
a space between 2 and S)

Click...OK.

A dialog box should report the following:

"DllRegisterServer in SHIMGVW.DLL succeeded"

SORRY I mean Exif files NOt metafiles.
