Missing Mail

About 90% of my mail "Cannot be found" when I try to view it. However a
"Search" of "Windows Mail" took me to all of my documents (which can be
viewed).

Since nothing else works with Windows Mail, this is probably a wasted
question but I'll try anyway.

Is ther any way I can get the 'searched' messages back into Windows Mail so
that when I open MAIL I can view my messages?

By the way, if it means anything, when I could not move mail to folders
because I kept getting the "error message", I shut-down and cold-booted my
computer. That's when all my mail disappeared.

If the eml files are there, then just drag them from Explorer overtop a
WinMail message list and when dropped, they will be re-incorporated.

Thank you Steve.

I tried it with a couple of messages and it worked. Now all I have to do is
find the time to manually move a thousand-or-so mesages.

Once again, Windows Mail reminds me why I vowed to never try new Windows
software until at least a year after it is introduced.

Maybe this time I'll learn my lesson.

CTRL-A will select them all in a search or Explorer window and then you can
drag them all at once and drop them.
