Missing Links and Desperation

I just don't know what else to look at to fix this!

The navigation bars on the left side of my home page are
GONE. However, they still exist on other pages of my site.
When I click on "Nagivation" to see the structure of my
site, the pages under the home page show up. The buttons
just don't appear on the page itself.

This all started when I was doing some work to my home
page. I did some editing in html and obviously messed
something up! I've tried unlinking and re-linking the
pages under the home page. I've tried moving them under
another page (where they DO show up), then moving them
back (where they DO NOT).

I'm at a loss. Any help will be appreciated.
 
Also, when I click "Format" while sitting on the home
page, everything is grayed out! I can't use "theme"
or "shared borders", both of which I was going to work
with to try to fix the problem.
 
1. Make sure you have a web open.
2. Format | Shared Borders and check to be sure the page is set to use share
borders.
