Help. I reinstalled my OS with the factory restore disc that came with the pc. It basically is suposed to install the OS (winxp home) and all the components that are needed to get up and running. However all the onhoard stuff is given on a seperate disc from the mobo manufacturers. Apart from the old winxp and usb2.0 problems everything went smoothly.... until I turned my speakers on and found no sound
Device manager is showing the following as either having corrupt or missing driver files :
Microsoft Kernel audio splitte
Microsoft Kernel wavtabl
Microsoft Kenel wave mixe
I cant seem to find these drivers anywhere and as I only have a reboot disc and no a standalone xp disc Im at a loss. Can anyone help?

If its a sound card not on the MB,simply install to a diffrent slot
If its integrated, under sounds in device mgr, simply uninstall all fo
that mfg, then close-out,restart computer.XP will reinstall all on restart
Go to windows update after.
