Hi @ll,

though I chose "Show Symbol as Tray Icon" at my Internet
Connection' options, I do not see anything that looks
like a tray icon.

I know this problem is not as dangerous as it sounds ;-),
but I am interested why I can't see it.

Thx,
Roaná

Have you enabled 'Shide inactave icons' on the properties page for Taskbar?
If you have uncheck the option and it should show.

Thx Bill,

but it wasn't that. I did uncheck that option, but I
still can't find that icon.

Hi

There is one other thing you can try with the hidden icons which sometimes
cause a problem. Go back to the option and check the hide option again,
next go to the Customise options and you'll see options for each item that
allow you to show the icons or hide them etc. You can see if there's an
option for your network connection in there and set it to always show. If
that doesn't work there's a couple more options you can try, have a look at
this page http://snurl.com/2y4z in the "Notification Area - Hide Icons."
section.

HTH
