When I updated PowerPoint 4007 the "help" files went missing. I have used the
CD to repair three times but it still tells me to repair using the CD. Aney
Suggestions???

Yes it is 2007 and it is part of Office 2007 Home and Student, along with
excel, powerpoint and one note. The CD is supposed to repair all 4 programs.
Sorry about the typing error

Steve, When I click on the question Mark I get a window that say's " There is
a problem with one or more of the installed help files. Please repair your
office installation and try again". I have used the repair feature on the CD,
three different times. Each time after repairing I still get the window with
the same message.

Steve, I am not on a neetwork. When I tried to reinstall it asks if I really
want to install Office. What happens if I tell it yes. Will I lose any of my
data or any of the updates that I have downloaded? thanks for staying with
me. Darrell

Steve, I downloaded sysinternals.com and ran it and it showed successful as
the result. I am not sure of myself reinstalling the product. I need to learn
more about the workings of my computer....Oh well. Thanks for your continued
support. Darrell
