Missing Hard Drive Partition

Joe

I tried to copy a hard drive with 4 partions to a new larger drive. It
seemed to work during the copy, but the new drive did not boot. I went
back to the old drive and am missing the 4th partition.

If I look at the drive in the Device Manager, check the properties and
populate the drive, I see all four partions. The first three have
drive letters assigned (C:, D:, E:) the last partion shows but there
is no drive letter assigned.

If I try to look at properties on the 4th partition nothing happens.

How do I fix this???

TIA, Joe

Consult whatever third party tool manufacturer you used to do this "copy".
Or, by "did not boot" - did you not mean one of the partitions was your
system?

What happens if you try to assign a drive letter in Disk Manager?

When I got into Disk Manager, The partition is marked as Healthy
(Unknown Partition) and it does not allow any option but to delete the
partition.
