Missing general tabs in IE6

The general tab section that enables cookie/history
deletion..etc has disappeared. I only have the security,
privacy, content options. Any help in resolving
this 'amazing' change would be appreciated.
I would like to uninstall IE6 SP1 completely and try re-
installation, but I find Microsofts help pages difficult
to understand.

Reset the Internet Explorer tabs and remove all the browser restrictions.

Restore All tabs in IE and Removes the ** Internet Options ** Restrictions
as well


The problem is due to a spyware. Download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com,
scan the system and eliminate the malware products. Re-apply the above fix
if necessary.
** Remember to update the pattern file using WebUpdate in Ad-Aware **
