Hi All!

I need some help! I am working on a web site using Frontpage 2002 and wanted
to test it completely before publishing it on the internet.

I did the following:

· I added IIS on a windows 2000 professional box on my local area network. I
then published the web-site to the local machine.
· I began to test the web-site and ran into a problem. The web-site
complains that it can not find the FrontPage extensions available to process
form pages. I created a top-ten list and had a similar error at execution
time.

I read the MS help pages and looked at the Internet Management tool under
the Admin tools on the start menu. I can not see what I have done wrong with
setting up IIS on the windows 2000 machine. H E L P ! !

Thanks!

Michael Kessler

IIS does not automatically install the extensions in 2000.
You have to install those also

You need to install the server extensions on the web. When you install
server extensions to IIS, it merely adds them to its capabilities. Each web
must have the server extensions configured for it individually. To do this
in IIS Admin, right-click the root folder of the web, and select "All
Tasks|Configure Server Extensions" from the context menu.
