I installed Windows 2000 Prof on my computer and I find
that a number of folders are missing from Documents and
Settings under Administrator. Missings folders include
LOCAL SETTINGS, APPLICATION DATA , IDENTITIES, and their
subfolders. OUTLOOK EXPRESS was installed under PROGRAM
FILES rather than in: DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\LOCAL
SETTINGS\APPLICATION DATA\IDENTITIES\(BA3DC.....)
\MICROSOFT\OUTLOOK EXPRESS, WHERE IT BELONGS. OUTLOOK
EXPRESS does work in this location, but it is impossible
to import or export an address book. I have no idea why
setup put OUTLOOK EXPRESS there.
Can I uninstall and reinstall OUTLOOK EXPRESS to put it
where it belongs, or must I reformat my hard disk and
reinstall Windows 2000 and all my applications and data?
PLEASE HELP
