Missing Folders Section in Windows Explorer

Kindly require assistance.

I opened my Windows Explorer and I clicked on the Folders
button on the top.

My screen split into 2 columns. The left column is just
greyed out. The folder listing (in a tree like) format is
not shown.

But the right side column shows My Documents folders.

How to I fix this?

You may be able to solve this problem by reinstalling Internet Explorer. For more
information, see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article that includes the
following...

"SYMPTOMS
In addition, the Folder view pane in Windows Explorer may be blank or gray
instead of having the folder tree view."

Or, if you want to try a registry fix published at the "Tech Support Guy Bulletin
