I have been having trouble converting my films from my
Sony trv340e into dvd format.
To cut an awful long story short I have tried to update
my WMM1 to WMM2 and it wont update so someone told me to
read this;
"Have a read through
http://pws.chartermi.net/~papajohn/MM2-Issues-Not-
Installing.html
and see if you can get WMM2 to install"
I went and looked and followed the path and I have five
folders in my registered packages folder but the last one
starting {60BFF50D- etc etc isnt there!
Any ideas why??
Thanks
Pat

I went to my sisters house who also has xp and went to
the update site and updated her MM1 to MM2 no problem at
which point she had the file {60bff50D etc,
I followed the instructions and right clicked on the
mm20ex.inf file and chose install like it said to but it
came up with a box stating that it haddnt passed the test
of Microsoft (or something)
So I didn't get to the stage double clicking on the
moviemk.exe file.
I did have a click anyway but its still MM1.

I'm getting nearer!!!

I went to my sisters and copied files from her MM2 set up.
With parting files and right clicking in
c\windows\registeredpackages\ then a file begining with
{6 something then right clicking on the file in there and
clicking install I now have MM2.
I set the camera to play and MM2 task pane says capture
from video device and I give it a save name and it says "
Capturing profiles cannot be found"
Any ideas anyone??

Thanks,
Pat
