Missing Filters in Windows Explorer

I just loaded Vista on a new laptop. In the music folder under my user name,
I have several other folders (MP3, MIDI, Karaoke, Guitar Tabs, etc.). When I
click on music and that is the folder that is shown in the address bar...if I
do a search for a file that I know exists in one of the subfolders, it does
not appear in the search (for example, the song "nightmoves"). I found out
the reason it does not appear...if I click on the arrow in the heading
"names", the only filter with a box to check or uncheck is A-H...so
"nightmoves" will not show up. No matter what I have done, I cannot get the
rest of the filters back (0-9, I-P, Q-Z)...so I cannot get complete results
to any of my searches. I have rebooted to no avail. I have noticed that
this is not a problem in some other folders and then in other folder
searches, there will only be the I-P folder, or just the A-H and I-P. There
is nothing consistant, some folders have all the filters and others have 1 or
2 of the filters. If anybody can tell me how to reset windows explorer so
that all the filters appear in any explorer window or folder searches, I sure
would appreciate it. I am computer literate, so if I need to make changes
directly in the registry...I can do it with your instructions. I hope that I
have explained this so that it is not too confusing.

Thanks...

Dan

That's kind of odd, but I was able to replicate it.
To get out of it, I clicked on the blue down arrow (recent pages) to the
left of the address bar, and selected
one of the "<-A-H" on the list...
