My 80 GB hard drive was used exclusively to store video
captures in .avi format. When I look at it's contents in
Windows Explorer, via DOS, or search for *.avi, the files
are not found. However, the HD Properties shows 51 GB
used, the rest empty, which is about right.
I cannot "find" these "missing" files. I wonder if they
are "shared" as the drive is set to share. If so, where
would they be? They are not in any "shared documents"
folder I can access.
Thank-you for any help you may provide. This is a mystery
to me. The work in capturing 55 GB of video may not be
replaceable. Even if it were replaceable, my drive no
longer has enough space, I assume...
