Missing files

I made a slide show with sound using Windows Movie maker. Now that I am
trying to save it to the disk as a file (ultimatley want to make DVD's) I am
getting an error message that some files are missing. I can view the slide
show perfectly in WMM. There are 500 or so 'files/ slides" in this movie. How
can I figure out which ones are "missing"?

look at the project file in the storyboard view and scroll through it
looking for any with a red X

There are no red X's. The entire show plays flawlessly in WMM. When I try to
save it as a movie or to anywhere else I get the error message..

Sorry - you won't want to hear this but you probably need to reimport
everything. Save project after every 10 or so imports until all is well.

Turns out I had too many "running processes"

everything worked fine when I lightened the load..

Good - a general lesson learnt for all ;-) ie 'puters work better when they
are running light ;-)

Nothing worse than a heavy computer.
I keep all of mine on Weight Watchers.
