Missing Files

I'm running Windows XP Professional and I believe i am
missing a .dll file that i need in order to let me look
at internet sites on Internet Explorer. is there a
command i can use so that my comp looks for missing files
and updates them? If not then what is the best thing to
do?

FUNNY, i just went through the sme thing today.
had to reboot the entire machine, be sure to backup
first. cyndi
