Missing files from OS

I recently bought a digital camera (FUJIFILM FINEPIX A205), and when I installed the program for the camera it told me that USBNTMAPS.SYS was not found, and discontinued the install. Also needs Program.exe.
I have tried without avail to contact and get info from COMPAQ (PC that I have), and can't seems to be able to buy Windows 2000 ME, in order to get those programs from the disk. The program was pre-installed on the PC.
Can anyone help me? I am desperate!
