Missing Files After Transfer

I tried to drag and drop 1.5 GB of files from a laptop to
a desktop and everything appeared to go fine. But when I
went to look for the files I just moved, they are not on
either computer. I searched both compuetrs for the
files, but none to be found. Any ideas what happened or
where the files might be? Thanks.

What type of connection device did you use? A transfer

cable/connector from Radio Shack would suffice.
Drag and drop from one PC to another could erase files
from both PCs if not done correctly. Chances are that
the files are still on the laptop or the PC. Use Search
to locate them.
