Missing File

Hi:

Due to a computer problem I have to start all over again.
I downloaded the 'Tweak UI.zip file and am unable to install the program to
'Control Panel', because the file 'tweakui.inf' is missing, as my computer
tells me.

When I think back, there was a trick to installing it properly, but don't
remember what it was.

Can someone help with that and also give me the website
which offers different helpful hints?

Hi Harry,

..zip is a type of compressed format.
Go download a trial version of Winzip.
Install it, open the Tweak UI.zip file
Click on Extract
choose Extract All
and point to Desktop
At that point you should have a TweakUI.inf
right click on the file and choose Install
Then TweakUI will be in your Control Panel.
Be careful with changing items in TweaUI
Write down what you do to start off, and
you'll get the hang of it.

TweakUi.inf is not missing if you can see it in the folder after you
expanded the download, though the only downloads I have seen are for
an archive called TweakUi.exe, not "Tweak UI.zip"

Do not try and install from a folder with spaces or more than 8
characters or you will get an error message.
