Missing File

I am trying to install a new printer and I am getting a message saying that I
do not have "usb.inf" file, version "5.1.2600.0" and it is on the windows
disc which I do not have. Can anyone suggest where I can obtain this file?
 
It's likely that the file is on your system. Unless you only own a 'mirror'
of the factory defaults (usually an .IMG file), most systems have an '/i386
folder on a partition. No legal copy of Windows fails to have a way to
restore the system. You should look at what you have on the drives.
