run it. I can find it Can you please help me or tell me
where i can get is. Thank you B Hopkins

Greetings --

That's an old, MS-DOS file, and it has absolutely no place or use
on a WinXP system. I suggest you contact the manufacturer of this
"drive" and get assistance.

If you mean a new IDE hard drive, XP should not be asking for this file. If
you are running some hard drive-installation software, it may be older than
XP. Go to the manufacturer's support website and download the latest
installation software and instructions.

If this drive is an internal (ATAPI) CDROM or CD-writer, it should be
detected automatically by XP, without any extra drivers.

If the drive is SCSI, then things may be a bit more complex, but my own
experiences with XP are that it will detect and load drivers for common SCSI
cards, and then detect hardware atached o those cards. However, if this
drive is SCSI and your boot drive, then you need to provide a SCSI driver
early in the XP installation process.

If none of this helps, try poting back with more details of the PC
configuration and exactly what new hardware you are attempting to install.
