Please help..MKBDATA.DATA IS MISSING..WHERE AND HOW DO i FIND AND REINSTALL

If you are getting the error when running a particular program, either
uninstall/reinstall the program or contact its maker's tech support
people.

malke your advice is very much appreciated and I have followed your
Instructions, sadly as a silver server, and yes, thats an excuse I know
I have no idea which the 'Probable culprit might be ? Should I just uncheck
one at a time till the message stops appearing ? I will study the webpage you
sent me and maybe learn more from that, thank you again very much.

No, please don't randomly uncheck things without knowing what they are.
Here are some sites where you can look up what you find on the Startup
tab using msconfig:

You can also run msconfig and write down what you see and post it here
if you like and I'll tell you if anything pops out at me. Another
option would be to have a knowledgeable friend (someone who is *really*
knowledgeable who you trust not to be inflating his degree of
knowledge) or a computer professional take a look.

So, you have a few things going on here. To address your original
question, my guess is that the MKBDATA.DATA file is associated with the
MMKEYBD. If you don't use special hot keys, I'd disable that and see if
the error goes away. You should also run through at least scanning with
Ad-aware and Spybot Search & Destroy from my general malware removal
steps here:

Make sure your Norton is a current version (not earlier than 2004) and
that your subscription is valid and the virus definitions are
up-to-date. Make sure you've got all security patches applied for your
operating system and that you are protected by a firewall.
