Missing field values in a dropdown list

Good day,

I have a database, which split into a front end database and a back end
database.
I've added some values to a lookup value list of one of the tables on the FE
database.

Thereafter I've checked if the added values showed in the back-end database,
and it updated successfully.

after that I gave a copy of the FE databases to one of the other users to
test, but when they opened it, the drop down list was completely blank and
also the list in the back end was blank

what happened to the list values?

Lookup fields in table designs should be avoided as per the recommendation at
http://www.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm.

If you want table design properties to "stick", do them in the be.

Create lookup tables and use combo boxes on forms for dropdowns.
