The original developer of Microsoft AntiSpyware, GIANT, originally developed
the program as a single user application. it went in beta 1 mode 21 days
after being purchased in December it has not had a drastic change since,
thats we are hoping to see more functionality in areas such as the one you
have requested in beta 2.

FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm

what exactly does not work on multiple user account, is
it the real-time protection only. can it scan all user
account and remove spyware.

what exactly does not work on multiple user account, is
Yes, its just not functional in that capacity.

Which one?
I have a system with several users, all with
administrative rights. MSAS was installed by one of them
but seems to be perfectly functional for all of them.
There are just some minor nuisances such that MSAS doesn't
remember the particular configuration of each user and
keeps warning about some changes when a user logs on but
otherwise real-time protection seems to work (at least I
hope so!) and it scans all accounts when one user
initiates a full scan.
Am I right assuming that it works?
Thank you for your answer.

O.A.

It is, in fact, working for you, although I'd be surprised if none of these
alternative users sees any spurious prompts. I've got a couple machines
with just two administrator users, and I don't see significant problems with
them, but the current codebase just doesn't handle administrator versus
limited users well, nor multiple users--there will be some oddities.
