As I was doing a system restore, my pc crashed, since
then nothing but problems. I have had to log in as a 2nd
user to be able to do anything. On checking Device
manager, I found that I have some missing drivers, which
are as follows, Direct access memory controller, Numeric
data processor, System speaker properties, System timer
and finally Viatech power management controller
properties. I managed to sort out quite a few problems,
but I cant free up the registry from when I had the
crash. I`m using xp pro and cant use the original disc as
at the same time as all this happened, my nephew got
hold of the disc (somehow) and has scratched it to bits,
so will have to get a replacement. Can anyone let me know
where I may be able to get hold of these drivers. Here`s
hoping!
