missing DLLs

I recently installed Beta and now am getting messages
that I am missing MFC42.dll and Internet Explorer will
not work. I downloaded the dll file and installed it an
dnow am getting the message missing ordinal 6905 in
MFC42.dll.
any suggestions?

Can you say what version of Windows you are running ?

Any from this list :

I think you may be having this problem because your
machine is Win 95, 98 or ME but let me know if thats not
the case. To the best of my knowledge many applications
use Windows system dlls such as mfc42.dll and there is
many different versions of this, Searching your system
for the file would be best like in
C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386 folder and
C:\WINDOWS\system32 assuming its not the one you
downloaded thats in system32 but letting us know what
version of Windows you are running may also help us find
the answer to solve this.
