Missing DLL Problem.

Can anyone out there help me? Recently when I uninstalled a program I
foolishly said yes to delete all the shared dll files associated with that
program. I have Norton utilities and ran a Windows Doctor check. It says
that a program called DotNetInstaller.exe cannot access a necessary file
called mscoree.dll. It says I cannot fix this problem (obviously because
like an idiot I deleted it!). Does anyone know exactly what this dll does
and will losing it affect my system? Am I ever likely to need that dll
again? My system doesn't seem affected by the change, but this problem
message is bugging me. I would be grateful if anyone can help me. Thanks.

there must be something on your system looking for the missing .dll so what i do is to reinstall a program that uses that dll and it should replace it...otherwise if you carry on with the error message showing one day you will run somthing and wonder why it wont work

DotNetInstaller is spyware that you don't want anyway. Did a search for
mscoree.dll on my machine. It is located in C:\Windows\system32 and
C:\Windows\system32\URTTemp. It is a Microsoft .NET Framework file so if
you'll need it if you're running the .NET Framework.
