When I have tried to copy digital photos to a CD-ROM, and
find I don't have enought room on the CD I have stopped
the process and deleted the Temp File. No wwhen I go to
look at my photos I get an error message saying "No
Preview Abailable." I've looked and the file still
appears to be there, I just can't open it in Windows or
by using Adobe Photoshop. Any suggestions. Please don't
tell me I have lost all my photos!

The file name should be followed by .jpg in order for XP or Photoshop to
open it.
Something like this:
filename.jpg
Is this what you have? If not, tell us what you have so we have an idea
about why you get this message and can help.

Yes all my file have the .jpg extension. The only thing
I did was select the files and selected copy to CD-ROM.
The files were too big so I deleted the copy. I did not
delete the original files. Now when I go to look at the
files I receive a message that says: "No preview
available." I know that something is still there because
the file still has a name and shows that it is still a
large file. I can't figure out why I can't get them to
open. Trying to use Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 to open
the file I get a message that reads: "Could not open
<file name> because a JPEG marker segment is too short
(the file may be truncated or incomplete)." I have done
nothing to the file except use the Windows XP copy. I
can't understand why copying something will damage the
file. I hope you can help.
