Missing controls in explorer browser

When starting the MS internet Explorer Browser, the only
view that comes up is the page contents (very similiar to
a pop up window). Very strange in that there are no menu
options, no url address line or anything.

Press F11 key. If that does not help, reset the toolbar setting from
Registry using this fix:
http://mvps.org/sramesh2k/reg/IEToolbar.reg

[Close all browser windows and apply the .REG script]

Deletes the following registry key; Resets Toolbar, Addressbar positions to
defaults. Restores hidden/missing bars:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar
