I have updated to office 2003 and now I can not find my email address.
My .pst file is Ok and my mail folders are in but no contacts.

Will I have to enter this contact address again?
Help!

Then clarify what you did. If you did an in place upgrade all your data
would be intact.
Do you contend that your Contacts Folder is now empty?
I doubt that.

I did an in place upgrade.
Whenever i open the contacts folder there is no contacts.
I could not find my old personal address, I do not beleive the folder was
call contacts in my old verision of Outlook.
I do not believe I had a .PAB file in the older verison?

Not possible. No version of Outlook ever stored Contact information in
anything other than a Contacts Folder. No upgrade installation ever migrates
anything other than your default PST file, which would by necessity contain
your Contacts Folder. Outlook has never used a PAB as its default Contact
store.
There is more to this story than you are telling us.

All Outlook data is in the same file. If your E-mail and Calendar is OK,
then so must your Contacts be, unless you transferred the data incorrectly
or were keeping them in a Personal Addresss Book.
I could not find my old personal address, I do not beleive the folder
was call contacts in my old verision of Outlook.

It was if you were using Outlook.
I do not believe I had a .PAB file in the older verison?

Older versions, like Outlook 97 and 98 did use the Personal Address Book,
but even then it wasn't needed. I believe The old Microsoft Exchange client
used a PAB and I think Microsoft Mail used it, too, but I'm not sure of
that.

My 2003 outlook has my pst file, because all my folders are under the
personal folders list. which contain all my saved emaill messages.
I can not see any of my contact email address that I use to have in 2002.
How do i get these address back in the contact file. when ever i try to
create a new message and the hit to;
there are three folfers to chose from;
Outlook Address Book
Contacts
Personal Address Book
But none hav any address in it?

please help direct me on how to get the address out of my .pst file.

You've still provided no information.
If you had done an in place upgrade, you would have all the data in your
Contacts Folder. If you do not, then you must explain more accurately what
you did because you did not do a simple in place upgrade.
You also seem still to be confused. There are no such folder as the ones you
describe. Those are address book services, not folders and they do not
contain any data.
If the Contacts Folder in your PST file is blank, then you have not posted
accurate information.
