I recently installed a larger disk drive (drive D), where I installed Windows XP. After I re-installed Microsoft Office on D, I just moved my original .PST file over. I also moved the .RWZ and .NICK files over.
I started up Outlook and was very happy to see that all my folders and email were still there. It was just today, though, that I noticed that my contacts and calendar were missing!
I searched this forum and it looked like I had done the right thing: Moved my .PST file over.
So why were they missing? They weren't. I was clicking the Outlook shortcuts on the left, and those shortcuts were the problem. They were pointing to a non-existent file or folder.
I got around the problem by just deleting the shortcuts and creating new ones, but just for my continuing education, what should I have done so that the shortcuts didn't break, or where could I have edited the path for them?
Thanks!
