I cannot find clipboard viewer. Went to add/remove and it is checked there.
Did an uninstall and reinstall of the component but I still can't find it.
It's a real drag when I copy something and then I can't find it to print it
out. Ditto for scan disk in system tools although I can't find the system
tools in add/remove to check for it. I have XP with service pack 2
installed. I know I had both of these items before I installed SP 2 but it
has been 2 to 3 months since the SP 2 install and this is the first time I
went to use either of thesee items. Hope someone can help.

Hi,

What happens when you to Start - Run and type the following
command then press enter?

clipbrd

For clipboard

and

chkdsk

For error checking (scandisk)

clipbrd.exe is generally located in your system root [probably
C:\WINDOWS\clipbrd.exe. Search for WINDOWS\clipbrd.exe. The easy way;
Right click a vacant Desktop space/click "New"/click "shortcut"/ type
"clipbrd.exe" [less quote markers], and click "Next"/type
"Clipboard",then click "Finish". You should then have a Desktop shortcut
to open the Clipboard [officially Clipbook Viewer].

Scan Disk is now called Check Disk. Start/My Computer/right click your
boot drive/click "Properties"/click "Tools" tab/here Check Disk is
called Error Checking/march on!
