I have users that need to be able to get to their calendar items that are
over a year old. Right now they are missing!!

I do not believe that they are using Auto Archive

Thanks
Ron

OK Now I feel like a HEEL!!!!!
I checked Tools | Options | Other | Auto Archive and it was not checked.

But when I checked the calendar folder itself, Auto Archive was enabled.

I changed the time to 24 months.
Thank you very much
Ron.

PS: Do you happen to know the max size of a mailbox in Exchange 2000? This
person's mailbox is almost 2GB, and his personal folders and the archive
folder are also almost 2GB. (Packrat!!!!)

The maximum mailbox size is set by the Exchange administrator on the Limits tab of the Properties dialog for the mailbox store.

Thank you. I know that the admin sets the size. Is there a limit to how big
they can set it? Or is it based on disk space?

Disk space and the license you have -- different versions of Exchange have different store limits. (Note that there are separate microsoft.public.exchange.clients and microsoft.public.exchange.admin groups that can provide more targeted guidance on Exchange admin and client configuration issues.)
