I'm not sure when it happened but one day, I noticed the
bottom view pane in IE 6.0, the one that shows when a
site is secure and where a hyperlink on a page points
when the cursor is over it, was missing. Don't know how
it disappeared. Malicious website? Wrong keystrokes? IE
add-on taking liberties?

What's important is how do I get it back?

Thanks for any response.

Hi David,

did you already try: IE, View, put a checkmark in front of Status Bar?

David,

Open IE > Click View > enable "status bar"
