Missing appointments

We are running Outlook 2003 SP2, Exchange 2003. We have had a rash of users
stating Calendar items are disappearing. Additionally some users are stating
their email is also disappearing. We have checked both server and client
side rules and cannot detect any automation which may be causing this
behavior. Are there any articles related to Calendar items gone missing or
emails being moved about?

Blackberries have a tendency to completely delete data more than a week or
two old.
 
Maybe RIM has an answer. We don't have issues until the "smart phones"
start playing, and then start missing stuff here and there.
 
We synch wirelessly, not the desktop manager. we only use the power
management feature. Are there any knowledge articles?

You'll have to look at Blackberry sites for that. Outlook is not an active
participant in the sync process. It merely holds the data.
