I have several tasks I wish to run during the night. If System Standby is
being used these tasks fail to run because the Task Scheduler is not running.
I do not understand why the system was designed this way. It makes no sense.

Any help?

Hi Henry,

In the given scheduled task properties there is an option to Wake the
Computer to run the task. Have you checked that option off.
