Had a new classroom computer that I have been runnung
SpyBot 1.3 on it found four items:
1.Avenuea, Inc
2.Double Click
3.Targetnet
4.ValueClick
I did not fix or clean the items with SpyBot. Loaded MS
Spyware using all the defaults, got all the new updates
then ran the program. It found nothing to report. No
spyware detected.
Ran both Spybot and MS Spyware several times with the same
results. Auto protect not loaded on either software.
Ran SpyBot and cleaned the four items from the computer.
Reran MS Spyware and SpyBot now neither finds anything.
Are these items missing from the definitation files in MS
Spyware that SpyBot has included......

It is well documented that Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1 does not go looking
for cookies (which the above items are). Cookies are passive items of text,
and pose no danger to your PC, or to Windows, its settings, or software.

Microsoft AntiSpyware concentrates on detecting and removing malicious
software.
