I am not overly concerned about this matter, but the
product indicates that it erases internet explorer
browser history. I ran the "erase tracks" function and
went back to IE. Low and behold all the history was
still there.

Not only this, but all forms within the system still
contained information.

Has anyone else noted this.

Microsoft Antispyware still in beta 1 so expect some
issue. but it would be nice for microsoft to put these on
the release notes.

Yes I have seen the same problem. What it does, is prevents
the visited urls from appearing in the drop-down box of the
url locator. But if you open the history tab, the urls are
there. Moreover, even if you attempt deleting these urls
manually in the history tab, they are not deleted. The form
data of the visited pages also does not go away, which
means that the cookies are not deleted.
Any idea what the problem could be?

It's a bug. I don't expect it to be fixed in the current beta1 version, but
beta2 should be very different.

Yes, I too have followed this procedure, and noticed the
same results. Also, I have noticed that MSASPW NEVER
updates its' "tracks erase" function to include 'current'
versions of "Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader"
programs...NOR does it include 'current' versions
of "Macromedia Flash Player" or "Direct X".

I don't think we'll see such updates in beta1. Lets see what happens when
beta2 is released.
