Hi,

Tired of losing data, I put my backup on a mirrored
hardware raid array. Turning my computer on yesterday it
said one of the drives had failed and would not boot into
windows. The only way to get into windows was to
disconnect the failed drive.

I can see the files in the drive, but cannot open any
files "the document name or path is not valid". There are
also constant "delayed write failed" messages coming up
in windows xp.

How do I get this data from the remaining good disk?

Cheers

That is the whole idea of _hardware RAID_ just take the
bad drive out and replace it. RAID will rebuild it.

Do I have to buy a replacement drive to get the data? I
need the files now, and cant even burn them to a CD and
start over. Can I take the good drive and put it on a
normal IDE cable to get it to work?
