Mirror images in charts

Hello,

A user sent me a PowerPoint 2003 presentation with 3 of
his 40 slides had charts that were displaying as a mirror
image, the other charts were fine. It looks as if he had
flipped the object when trying to resize it, but that was
not the case.

The settings of the object seemed to be fine, and when
inserting new charts, the default shows fine. When
editing the chart, the editing mode shows the columns and
text correctly, but it reverts when out of editing mode.
The only way I found to make these charts show up
correctly, was to "ungroup" them, but it converts them
into pictures, which is not acceptable. I also browsed
through the script editor, but found nothing unusual.

Although re-creating the charts is an option, the user
wants to know what happened and how to prevent it from
happening in the future. Actually, I do too.

I'd appreciate any assistance with this weird issue. I
can send the file if it helps, I know I HAD to play with
it before I gave up ;-)

Thanks,
Pilar
