Minor annoyance

J

James B.

Everything has worked well for me with this program
except for one annoying problem. When the program begins
its scheduled scan there are times when I want to stop it
because I am working. When I click the cancel button it
stops but a few seconds later it starts the scan all over
again. The second time I click cancel it stops for good
but this very annoying.

This problem can easily be solved by programming a pop up
screen that alerts the user that a scan is about to begin
with simple "yes or no button to proceed". A countdown
clock should be added that gives the user 30 seconds to
make the decision or the program will begin
automatically. Just my 2 cents:)

The trick to the one time cancel is to wait about 5 seconds before
canceling. If you immediately cancel, the program re-starts. We have bugged
this, and are working on it for a future release.

Other persons have reported and suggested similar ways to solve this,
lets hope they take note.
