Minolta QMS1250W error msg

I'm using Win ME with Win Office XP on a Dell. My Minolta Page Pro 1250W is
giving me a "Data Error: cyclic redundancy check" message after trying to
print a series of documents from Word.

I've cleared the print queue, plugged & unplugged the printer & usb cable
and resent my print job, but I kee0p getting the same message. The
documentation cd doesn't address error messages. Anyone have any ideas?

Are you sure that error is coming from the **PRINTER**? From the wording
it sounds like your hard drive has bad sectors and is generating read
errors when the flurry of activity generated by the print job is going on.
