Minimum Password length

If I set the policy for minimum length, will all accounts
that do not meet the policy get prompted to comply the
next time they login? Or does it only go into effect when
they change their password.
 
It goes into effect only when passwords are created [new accounts], changed
or reset. If you change password policy you want to communicate the new
policy with users ahead of time with specific examples of what will and what
will not work. --- Steve
