Outlook 2003 will not install on Windows 98 - will the 2002 version? I
looked in the help in my 2002 version under "require" and "system" but
couldn't find anything.

TIA.

Outlook 2002 will run on Windows 98. Do not forget the Office updates after
installing.

Boy, you weren't kidding about those updates! 1 pass to update some 'core'
stuff, another for SP1, another for SP2, another after that, each with a
reboot required. Even on a high-speed connection I was at the computer for
the better part of an hour performing this upgrade from Outlook 2000 to
Outlook 2002.

Seems to work fine - that's the good news. The other bad news is that it
keeps trying to also update Office 2000 and we can't find the CD-ROM so it
won't finish that process. We own licenses to the rest of Office XP for
this machine and will probably just install that as well and be done with
Office 2000.

If you are going to deploy Office XP you might want to take a look here to
see how you can deploy with all patches at once (saves you a lot of
rebooting and individual downloads)
