I am planning to use an industrial pc with flash-card instead of an ordinary
hdd. Due to the price on flash-card vs hdd i want to use the smalest possible
disk.
What is the minimum disk requirements for a win 2000 installation ?
I need networking, std vga, no sound, usb.

Thanx

The spec say 2GB, but it is possible to remove parts of the installation?
I am only using one program, an OPC-server that communicate trough the
ethernet-port. All unnessesery applications and support for ex. multimedia,
other hw etc. can be removed.
I have been told it 's possible to reduse the installation to about 500 MB.
Anyone have any ideea?

TorGunnar - I believe that at 500MB or so you are verging on the domain
of "embedded systems", and perhaps a websearch for that would give you
some leads to how to do what you want to do. I'm not at all sure that
the standard W2k installation process can be manipulated to do it.

Perhaps if you attach a HDD, install W2k, pare it down by trial and
error to the size you need, then clone it to the flashcard...?
