I have a program I want to run when windows start. The problem is that
everytime it start its will occupie one of the taskbar space and I might
accidentaly close it. I was wondering if I can set this program to run but
only appear in the system tray. If there is any technical, please tell me.

If you designed the program, you have to code for that.

If it is someone else's program, no, unless you create a front-end using the
system tray.

Windows has no ability to do this, but you can find third-party software
that will provide this capability. A google search should goive you several
choices.

There are plenty of programs that will allow you to do this.

Here are two of the best:

WinRoll http://www.palma.com.au/winroll/
TrayIt! http://www.teamcti.com/trayit/trayit.htm
