Minimized windows disappear and doesnt show up in taskbar

When i minimize any open window it doesnt show up in the
taskbar. But it is minimizes as when i press ALT-TAB it
comes back again. I am using windows XP PRO and have
McAfee antivirus installed.

Do help me out with how to fix this bug
