Minimized Web Page When Opening Web Pages

I've recently begun to have annoyance that when I
use "Open Link in New Window" or when a web page link
opens a new window, the window is opened at the minimum
size. For example when I right click over a link and
use "Open Link in New Window" the link is opened in a new
window but the window is extremely small. I would like
the window to open to a "normal" size or maximum size.
How do I change this so that it does what I want?
